A Candle Made for Real Life
After being diagnosed with severe asthma, I found that many candles affected my breathing. I loved the warmth and atmosphere a candle brings to a space, but I struggled to find one that combined clean ingredients, beautiful fragrance, and exceptional quality. The few that met my standards often came with a luxury price tag that made them difficult to enjoy every day.
As a mother and pet owner, I wanted more than a candle that simply smelled beautiful. I wanted something I felt good about lighting in the home I shared with my family every day. That became the standard I held myself to from the very beginning: creating candles with thoughtfully selected, clean ingredients so I could enjoy life’s everyday moments with greater confidence and peace of mind.
Determined to create something better, I began experimenting with waxes, fragrance blends, and wicks until I developed a formula I truly loved. What started as a personal solution quickly became a passion. Friends and family began requesting candles of their own, and I realized I had the opportunity to create something larger than I had ever imagined.
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Years before launching this company, I designed more than 200 handcrafted party favors for my brother's wedding and discovered how much I loved creating meaningful, beautiful products by hand. Candle making became the perfect combination of craftsmanship, creativity, and purpose.
Today, every Dania Candle Co candle is hand-poured in Washington using premium coconut-apricot wax, thoughtfully selected fragrance oils, and crackling wood wicks. My mission is simple: to offer luxury candles made with clean ingredients that are as beautiful to experience as they are to display—without the traditional luxury markup.
As a female- and minority-owned small business, Dania Candle Co is a reflection of my journey as a woman, mother, and entrepreneur. I am proud to build a brand rooted in creativity, resilience, quality, and the belief that thoughtfully crafted luxury should feel welcoming, meaningful, and attainable.
